My goal is to improve the functional abilities of children with a variety of special needs. This includes developmental delays in areas such as Sensory Integration and Autistic spectrum disorders. Issues in young, typical, developing children that Allyson specializes in are: tantrums, attachment and separation, transitions, preschool readiness, social skills, and sibling issues.
If a child's job is to grow, learn, and play; my job is to help a child be a child.
To recognize that each child is unique and needs an individual treatment plan is the main objective while providing services to meet child and families needs. Allyson offers a team approach to focus on each child's needs and abilities by including parents, caregivers, family members, and other professionals involved with the child's development.
